Alfredo Volio Mata Experimental Station of Dairy Cattle (EEAVM, for its acronym in Spanish)
Objectives
To transfer knowledge and to train professionals and producers in animal production and feeding.
To promote the improvement and progress of the livestock sector through the search for knowledge through scientific research, technological experimentation and innovation of ruminant production systems.
To train and transfer technology in fodder management, establishment of forage crops, silage, treatment and utilization of organic waste, ruminant animals feeding, reproductive management, genetic improvement, and models of partly handcrafted production of dairy products.
