The activities of support to research refer to those activities that directly contribute to the best development of the programs and projects of research. They must be linked to a project, group of projects, a program of research or a concern or interest of the academic unit as a whole.
They can be submitted for registration any moment of the year through SIPPRES opting just for basic operative funds. The period of initial validity depends on its objectives and scopes, without exceeding 12 months. Only in very difficult situations and properly justified the requests of extension of validity will be accepted.
